LESSON OF FIRST WEEK OF WORKING

hello and assalamualaikum my little raspberries..

so, I thought I wanted to make this blog a happy blog, not stressful and all but this time, I just have to write about something that really bugs me and had made me so stressful these days.. however, i'm still going to try writing it in a non-stressful way. I have to let people know about this so they won't feel like they're alone if they ever had to experience the same thing...

LESSON OF FIRST WEEK OF WORKING

yes, it has only been my first week working , it's also my first time working as well.
I work at a superstore, selling Hijab at small booth in  the superstore. this is only a part time job so  sometimes I work in the morning, sometimes until night. Seems like an easy job , right? well, it is. let me just tell you problem by problem.

Day 1/ Problem 1
I came to work early, you know what people say, feeling enthusiastic on the first day. So I came and I have no idea of what I should do. so I waited for the Boss, wait and wait until I decided to text her to ask if I should open the booth. and she replied, yes. so I opened the long cloth that's covering the booth, but, still have no idea how to store the long cloth. luckily there's a nice girl who work near my booth taught me how to. problem settled. and now, I don't know what to do, so I just sat in it. suddenly a woman came to me and asked me if i'm Eda, the new employee. I said yes, and asked her if she's my Boss, turns out she's just another employee. so she taught me how to sell the stuff and all, so I just waited for customers. A customer came, and I just followed the price given by the employee earlier, unfortunately, the price is not the correct price. so I had to pay for the rest of the unpaid money.  even more frustrating, if someone bought something and I had to give change, there's no money! I had go   around to other booths to look for smaller amount of money to change. the only good thing happened this day was that a lot of customers came to the booth, so I got commission that day.
WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY HERE: this job is not systematic at all. I didn't know people, I didn't know what I was supposed to do and I didn't even know about the correct prices until I had to pay with my own money.  first day of work, instead of getting money, I lose my money. hmm

Problem 2

The day goes like  nothing bad happen. I succeed in selling 4 inner magic to one lady. Good. but, when my shift was done, suddenly my friend, or  the employee that work for the next shift texted me saying that 3 inner magic were missing , which means someone could stole them, or I accidentally gave extra inner magic to the lady, which I highly doubt. so I was so confused. Is this my fault? Did I gave extra 3 inner magic to the lady? Or did someone stole it while I was'nt looking? I have no idea. the next day, turns out they miscounted it, and found 2 of the 'lost' inner magic. but, there's one more missing. and I still have no idea where it went, until now. but still, the other employees still thought that I was the one who caused the problem. whether it's true or not, only God knows.
WHAT I"M TRYING TO SAY HERE: Some stuff went missing and I was blamed.  turns out they miscount it, and found out only one went missing instead of 3. seriously, is it necessary for me to count all the stuff before I leave? maybe  I should've .. but still, if one went missing after I counted them, i'm the one who has to pay. luckily this time I didn't have to.

Problem 3

Yesterday worked full time, from morning until night. it was so tiring, so the next day i was tired and not feeling so well. the next day after that, my boss found out i wrote in the receipt book that i sold a Hijab with the wrong price. short RM15 . which is a lot! i was shocked myself! i'm sure i didn't sold this price to the person. i'm sure i just wrote it wrong. but, well, you know, bosses, they only know to scold people instead of asking for an explanation or money. so she scold me in front of the other employee, and said that she is so mad and furious. she also said that she had to take of RM15 from my pay. i didn't care, if it is my fault you can take it! don't take it and threaten me like i didn't want to give the money.
WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY HERE:
look, if i did something wrong, i would try to fix it. i would never run away from it. don't scold me like i don't feel bad. so, lesson here, i shouldn't work full because i can be really stupid the other day. and forgetful too. hmmm

Problem 4/Day 7
Another thing went missing. In the stock book stated that there were supposed to be 3 lycra skirts, but when I counted them , there's only two. I asked the other employee and she didn't know where it went. I looked for it everywhere but to no avail. I was looking and trying to remember if I had actually sold it but the other employee keeps saying   "if the skirt is gone you have to pay for it. but if you're sure you didn't caused it the employee who's working later will have to pay for it. ".. she keeps saying the same thing over and over instead of helping me looking for it! that was really annoying. I don't want to pay for it! I don't want the other employee working later to pay for it too! i just want to know we're the freakin skirt went! urgh! so i texted my boss, and turns out she took it and told the other employee working later to write it,and she forgot to write it.
WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY HERE:  why can't the boss write it her freakin self??? you took it so you're responsible for it not the employees! and the other employee is a problem too. how can she forgot such an easy task?? while the employee who keeps nagging, i have a feeling you stole the inner magic earlier and try to blame it on me. since you keep saying that "if something went missing, you have to pay for it" so it could be you took it and told me to pay for it, right? i don't know..

Problem 5/Day 7
this one is practically my  mistake. I brought coins to work, the ones I saved from  I was a little kid. I counted them at work, carefully without hoping no one sees me or they might steal them! yes, you guessed it, about RM10 of  coins were missing. I believe someone stole them, or maybe I was just forgot that I may not actually have that amount of money! I still had no clue because I was pretty sure that I counted the amount of money and was sure that RM10 went missing. However, my other money and my belongings are still there. why would someone steal just RM10 when there was a lot more? however, I was so grateful to Allah as only Rm10 was missing instead of my other belongings . but still, this is pretty weird.
WHAT I'M TRYING TO SAY HERE: this place is definitely unsafe. have to be careful at all times.

yeah, that all happened in just one week.
so, today will be day 8.. I really really hope nothing bad happen. anyways, i'm going to quit from work. this work has caused more trouble to me than helping me gain working experience and extra money. so this will be my last 4 days at work . hopefully  I will get a new job which is much better than this one, AMIN...

that's all, thanks for reading.

much love,
EDA
