Meatball Spaghetti Recipe

Hello hello!
Haa..harini eda buat spaghetti. Guna San Remo small shells. Not much really. Just wanna share with the internet. This is like the super easy way to cook this. So here goes.

1. Cook meatballs in boiling water.
2. Saute minced garlic and large onion in a large pan.
3. Add in the meatballs (without the water) into the pan. Do not throw away the water , we'll be using it later.
4. Add chopped bell peppers(I used yellow ones) , carrots and tomatoes (I used cherry tomatoes) . Cook for a few minutes.
5. Add 1 cup of the meatball water into the pan with 1 cup tomato spaghetti sauce.
6. Bring to a boil. Add salt , sugar, pepper, and bolognese herbs to taste.
And we are done! Easy right?

You can also use minced beef but instead of boiling it, you can straight away fry it in the pan instead of boiling it first.

Aha! For the spaghetti sause, i used Kimball brand. I used to love using the Prego brand, but there were some issues about halal and non halal ingredients in it. They say Prego sauce in Can/Tin are the halal ones while the ones in the jar are non halal. But still I think it is best to pick the one that Muslims are really sure of, which is Kimball. Insyaallah.

I hope you like the recipe and try it at home. If there are any advise you would like to give, do tell me. Thank you. Hehe

DEFINITION OF SCIENCE AND AKHLAK

THIS IS A VERY DIRECT TRANSLATE OF CTU FOUNDATION NOTES.

CHAPTER 3: AKHLAK DALAM SAINS DAN TECHNOLOGI

According to Islam's perspective, the definition of character(akhlak) differs from the definition of moral because character has a spiritual dimension and the relationship is integral to al-khaliq. It's nature of absolute because the limits are already written in al-Quran and as-sunnah. A good character in Islam's perspective is the incarnation from a good religious faith while no character or having a bad character is the manifestation of low in religious faith.

The importance of character in a Muslim's life is  not only in affairs of worship(pengibadatan) or in social life , but also important in knowledge activities including science and technology. science and technology will give great benefits not only in worldly affairs(urusan duniawi) but also bring rahmat to human race in this world and the afterworld if it is compared with a good character.

DEFINITION OF SCIENCE
the meaning of science is some kind of knowledge that is produced through observations as well as understandings that is born from it. It can also means elaboration systematically based on phenomenon of tabii or natural phenomenon. According to Encarta Encyclopedia, science in a large scope have a meaning of knowledge that can be obtained through systematic based on experience of sense which can be proven objectively. In conclusion, science can be summarized as one compilation of human knowledge that is collected by research and can be accepted by the mind.

DEFINITION OF CHARACTER (AKHLAK)
The word character(akhlak) comes from arab, which is plural from the word khuluq. In terms of language, it means good character, behaviour, habit or knowledge related to human behaviour whether it is good or bad.

According to Al-Ghazali, character is a nature that is inside of us and from it, form actions easily without needing to think about it first. However, Ibn Makaswaiyh said that akhlak actually meant the condition of the soul that encourage a person to do an action without needing to think about it first. He divided it to two; 1. A person's tabi'e , which is based on the nature of the person, such as easily gets mad about small mistakes, easily shocked, easily give up and etc. 2. The soul that is formed from exercises and habits. It goes through two stages, which is the consideration stage and thorough thinking, and also a stage to predict a good occurrence until it becomes a habit in someone's life.

BENEFITS OF MANJAKANI

Hello hello hello!

Urgh, so bitter!
That would be the first reaction of any lady when consuming 'herb' or 'jamu' whether in powder, capsule or liquid. The taste is quite bitter and brackish. If you are not a fan of these herbs, then it can be a problem for you. However, remember that by consuming herbs can ensure you a healthy body in a long life. There are a lot of types of herbs out there now including Oak Galls, or Manjakani. The skin of this fruit is sputter and the taste is very bitter but is very good as an ingredient in good quality herbs. What is the benefits of consuming Manjakani?

1. Anti-aging
Who doesn't want to keep looking young even when you're 30? Every woman will look for any ways to prevent themsel8ves from aging especially areas under the eys and sagging skin all over the body.

Eating manjakani is the best way. It is best to buy the fruit and boil them yourself. Drink the broth at least 3 times a week. The antioxidant content in this fruit is proven to slow down aging process of cells inside the body.

2. Prevent Diseases
Diabetes and asthma has always attack women including kids. If you inherit the disease then you are not excluded to get the same disease yourself. (Hopefully not though)

Early prevention is very necessary to avoid the disease from getting worse. Practise drinking manjakani broth as it has galik acid elements that can overcome these two diseases.

3. Eliminate Odours
Itchiness and unwanted odours from the vagina may eliminate self confidence in every girl. You will feel uncomfortable and restless in everything you do.

Manjakani is one of the magical fuits that have all sorts of benefit for internal health and beauty purposes. It is proven that it can disinfect bacteria and germs that can produce the unwanted odour from the vagina.

4. Strengthen Teeth and Bones
Improper handling of the teeth may result in swollen gums that leads to bleeding. This will make it easier for bacterias to attack. Same goes to the bones. If there is less calcium, it is easier for one to get osteoporosis before the age of 40.

We need to use our body for a long time. Practise consuming manjakani herb as often as you can as it contains calcium which can prevent these kind of problems.

REFLECTIVE LOG (MY SAMPLE )

hello stars!
one of the assignments for ELC (English subject ) in Foundation in Sciences Studies, is Reflective Log.  I have to say, Reflective Log is one of my favourite assignments here in PAlam. because you get to write about your life! No research needed. (well, maybe a little bit about the vocabulary and such ) . basically, you just write about a part of your life that may have affected you in some ways, that's it. But you have to use formal language, of course. Not like this blog kinda thing. the best part is, the limit is just not more than 250 words! depending on each lecturers, I guess. But still you can write bout anything that happened in your life, whether it's a sad occurrence, a happy memory, and more detailed about it and how it affect you in the present time. If you're really intomdoing this, it only takes you like half an hour minimum to complete this task. enough chit chatting, In case you're wondering how a reflective log should be, here's mine :

            My Favourite Website

One of my favourite thing to do is watching Youtube videos. Youtube is a video sharing website, which I think is well-known and used by almost everyone in this world. There are varieties of videos  that I watch, from music videos to educational videos, and mostly comedies.  Youtube has helped and influenced my life a lot. For example, inspirational videos from my favourite Youtubers (people who posts videos on Youtube) motivates me and the things they say affect my actions in daily life . It is also a method for me to distress myself by watching relaxing videos ,travelling vlogs, or comedies, as the saying goes, ‘laughter is the best medicine’. There are still many benefits of Youtube that I can list, such as, watching shows, movies or dramas for free, learning beauty tricks, exercising, and the lists goes on. However, there are also a few negative sides of this . One of them had actually happened to me, which is addiction. It happened when I was at home during sem-break, I watched Youtube videos, from the moment I wake up until late at night for a few days. Another disadvantage of this is bad language. Since most Youtubers are just normal people and they are free to post just about anything, they frequently use swear words and sometimes even worse, where they put sexual content in some of their videos which is a bad , but gratefully, I am still not influenced by it. On top of that, I think Youtube is a good source of education and entertainment that I will surely continue to use it for many years to come.

Bread Diet is Bad For You?

Hello hello! So today I want to tell you about Bread diet.

What is bread diet? Well, like the name, it simply means going on a diet by just eating bread and water. (Mostly)

Is it good or is it bad?

At first, I don't know its effects or benefits or whatever. Since it is the easy to do so, I have been doing this diet for almost 5 days now, when I suddenly realise that I haven't eaten any proteins! Yes, I ate meatballs or sausage once in a while but that is just in a very small quantity, almost like you're not eating it at all. So I searched on the net about it, and surprisingly, the top results are all bad.

Yes, I can pretty much say that bread diet is bad for you. I mean, if you think about it with logics, carbs is the food class that people have to avoid if they want to lose weight, right? But instead, I'm eating carbs everyday although in just a small amount.

Bread makes you hungry?

I read about this in some of the sites in the net. They say that eating bread makes you feel full faster , but it can also make you feel hungry again faster. Then, when you are hungry again, you keep eating the high carb food. That doesn't seem about right, doesn't it? You'll just end up eating more than you were supposed to! In my experience, at first I don't really eat lots of bread and get hungry easily, but a few days later, I do! So I guess this facts true then. It also states that it's better to eat grainy food rather than food than was made out of grain, which is bread.

Bread might lead to diabetes?

Again, I'm still not sure about this. It just stated that eating bread is not a very good option for diabetic people and even for those who wants to lose weight. I mean  think about it , bread is sweet , right? Obviously it not only have carbs, glucose but also sugar! (Wait, isn't glucose is sugar? Haha. My bad! ) Basically what I'm trying to say here is if it's bad for diebetics people, let alone for us to eat just bread everyday. Isn't it the same? I think it is, in a way.

So, that is all. In conclusion, if you are going on a diet, please do a research first before attempting on it. Otherwise it might lead you to sickness rather than a healthy body. Choose what you eat wisely, and most importantly, don't forget to eat. You must eat. Abd also exercise regularly, of course.  Keep a healthy lifestyle all right, guys and girls! Good luck!

Much love,
EDA

My dad is my lecturer??

Hello people.
It's already the first week of the 2nd sem of Foundation in Science Studies. And it's already Thursday. So far everything is going great, no massive homesick or anything, and yes lecture has begun although for the last sem, first week of the semester there were no lectures at all. But this sem, we just continued studying like the 2 months semester break never really happened. Haha.

Nothing great really happened, just normal studying week. Oh yeah except 1 ! For ELC subject(English), we have a new lecturer! And surprisingly it is a guy, middle aged but looks younger than his age. And guess what, he looks just like my dad! How awesome is that! At first I did'nt really notice it but then, I kept looking at him, laughing at his jokes when suddenly tears started to gather  my eyes as I recalled that he looks just like my dad! (I miss my dad okay, homesick :P )
So that's when I know he is going to be my fav lecturer this sem. (I hope so) And I will definitely make him remeber my name, I will, with whatever way it is I want him to remember me. (Insyaallah) hopefully for the good in me, not the bad. Hehe. Welp, 'dad', I am looking forward for our english class. See you next week!

Much love,
